Food Blog Forum Launch & Camera Giveaway!

I can’t believe we did it.

No…I can’t believe that Diane and I were in Mexico 6 weeks ago at Rancho La Puerta, brainstormed an idea to create Food Blog Forum and kaBLAM!

We built it, thanks to the genius work of Todd and Scott (each of our better halves).

Food Blog Forum is just that…a forum dedicated to food bloggers. It’s a site where we can all help each other, discuss hot issues and read expert advice. It’s where we are going to spill all of our secret tricks to food photography, lighting, monetization, social media and whatever else we can think of!

Oh, and we’re giving away one of these babies!:

Hi! I’ve signed up on the forum site, but for whatever reason, it won’t let me sign in, and it says theres no one under my username. I don’t get it…my username that I chose was farihahk. I uploaded a avatar picture and everything, so i thought it would work… help, please? Thank you!

    • Scott — 3/17/10 @ 12:32 pm

I didn’t see your username in the user list. If you would email your preferred username, email address and name to support@foodblogforum.com and I will create your account for you and send you your temporary password.

  17. Congratulations on creating this forum! I can’t wait to hear more information!

  18. A Canadian Foodie — 3/14/10 @ 2:50 pm

Will this be like e-gullet, but without the application or pre-approval to membership… with a very specific focus to food blogging?
Great idea. I would also like to see a bit of specialty food sourcing somehow enabled. For example, there are specialty food items I would like to order online from France, but they will not send internationally. I would need a French contact to receive the item, and ship it on.
    Just a suggestion.

  19. Andrea MacDonald — 3/14/10 @ 2:59 pm

That’s fabulous! There are so many great food bloggers out there, including yours ; )

  20. Chris — 3/14/10 @ 4:32 pm

  29. Way to go. I’m definitely signing up!
Tonight, I made your Chinese Beef Broccoli from your cookbook. It’s an award winner as far as I’m concerned. My 11-year old son ate all the broccoli and said his favorite part was the sauce on the meat. Thanks for a fantastic family-friendly recipe!

  30. Emily H. — 3/14/10 @ 10:17 pm

Congrats on not only coming up with a great idea, but mostly on executing on it! So many people come up with great ideas, but few pursue them and make them a reality.

I wish you continued success and hope you had a great time here in Austin.

  48. Kissthecook — 3/15/10 @ 4:04 pm

I’ve long enjoyed your blog in silence Jaden, and have found your recipes easily applied to my meal rotation. I see you and/or your food mentioned on other sites I frequent and envy your apparent chef/blogger community. When I took a look at whiteonrice’s video of your blog vacation, I had to laugh to see so many others whose blogs I read regularly. Thank you for your site, your recipes and your helpfulness to others. I may even get the courage to blog on my own one day!

  49. Gaby — 3/15/10 @ 5:35 pm

This is such a great site Jaden! So helpful and informative! Can’t wait for the event in LA!
