I first heard about ThermoWorks Thermapen from Alton Brown loooong time ago. It’s one of his most important tools — and it’s become one of mine! I bought the Thermapen and also purchased 3 more as holiday presents for family. I got my 2nd Thermapen for Mother’s Day this year from my kids — perhaps they felt guilty that they put my beloved Thermapen in the DISHWASHER!!!!! LOL!
